maybe jail needs to be tougher so that people don't want to go there

Bernard is right, you can't reoffend while you are in jail

Jail is a last resort - there must be a balance between giving the criminal the chance for rehabilitation and the safety and the overall good of the society.

i don't want to go there but there are alot of people who arent really worried about it.

if you are not scared of jail then what's the point of it?

jail should be so bad, that noone wants to go there

some people get quite used to it, it is an inconvenience but nothing bad

hardened criminals aren't afraid of jail any more, maybe it's not tough enough
